Ce que l'on peux en retenir...1. What does Open Beta mean?
The word "Beta" in the Software Industry describes a software, which is not ready for prime time. It also describes a timeframe, in which users can get the software for free to test and send feedback to the developer or distributor.
A Beta-Software usually contains still a lot of bugs and the goal of a beta test is to find these bugs and report them. Although in most cases the software is function-complete, it does not need to be in every beta version. The user cannot claim any rights on the software during the beta phase.
The software is usually provided "as-is", i.e. without any warranty for any purpose. The user is not entitled to any support, bug-fixes, help, not even to response from the developer or the distributor of the software during a beta-phase.
But still, a beta phase is not a "lawless time". There are rules for that period, which have to be followed by all users.
When a user violates any of the rules, he can be banned from using the software anymore, he can even be requested to fully delete and prove the deletion of the software.
Roughly the same rules apply for Ragnarok Online Europe (euro-ro), too.
We give you the possibility of testing our game for two months for free. In exchange, we expect from you bug reports. These bug reports must be reported into our Bug Tracking System.
All above mentioned rules are valid during the beta. To clarify, we repeat here the most important ones:
* Do not expect any support from us
* Do not expect any help from us
* Do not expect our servers up and running all the time
* Do not expect us responding to your requests
* We reserve the right to delete accounts without notification and explanation
* Do not expect us to fix bugs
* Do not expect response if you contact us
* Follow the Server Rules
* All other rules are valid as always
If you can live with these conditions, you are welcome to test the game. If not, please wait for P2P beginning end of March, 2004.
2. How long will the Open Beta run?
The Open Beta runs from the 4th of February to end the of March. During this time the game is completely free!
3. What will happen after the Open Beta to my Gamechars and Gameaccount?
At begin of P2P, we want to have the same starting point (chances) for everybody. If that means that we have to delete all the Characters from the Open Beta, we will do so.
The most important issue for our decision will be the status of the ingame economy. We want to definitely avoid a hyper-inflation and guarantee equal starting point for everybody at P2P.
The account data will not be deleted.
PLEASE NOTE: WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DEFINITELY DELETE ALL CHARACTER DATA BY BEGIN OF P2P TO GUARANTEE AN EQUAL STARTING POINT FOR EVERYBODY. THE DECISION, WHETHER WE DELETE OR NOT WILL BE MADE DURING THE OPEN BETA DEPENDING ON THE STATE OF THE INGAME ECONOMY AND THE STATE OF THE GAME.
4. What will Ragnarok cost after the Open Beta?
The monthly fee has not yet been decided. We will announce this separately as soon as we have made a decision. The game itself (the client) will be always free (unlike many other MMORPG games).
5. What kind of game is Ragnarok Online?
Ragnarok Online is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). This means that you play in an online world where thousands of other people play altogether at the same time. This kind of world is often known as a ?persistent world? which means that it changes all the time even if you are not playing the game.
6. With which version the Open Beta starts?
Die Open Beta starts with New Comodo. During Beta we will expand the world.

)... je sens que ce genre de news va me motiver... en qques mois ils se sont déjà mis au niveau des serveurs actuels 
(je regarde pour le paiement paybycash pour 1 mois comme l'a fait slump... mais ça me gave car c'est surtaxé ).
